Siemens unveiled at the 24th China International Industrial Fair with the theme of “Integration of Data and Reality, Leading a Sustainable Industrial Future”. The “Diamond Heart” exhibition booth, composed of Siemens’ automation and digital product family, showcases a complete architecture covering the industrial site layer, equipment layer, operation layer, management layer, and cloud layer. It can help enterprises break down the barriers between IT and OT, and achieve modular, flexible, secure, and sustainable production through data empowerment. On site, Siemens released 12 software and hardware integrated products and solutions, including SIMATIC S7-1200 G2, PCS 7 V10.0, DCMA V4.0 driver predictive maintenance system, further expanding its product family. Siemens also collaborates with ecological partners to bring solutions ranging from economic to high-end, from basic applications to cutting-edge technologies, covering various industrial application scenarios, helping enterprises of different sizes and development stages unleash digital value.
Against the backdrop of global supply chain restructuring, Chinese industrial enterprises are facing unprecedented challenges and opportunities, and urgently need to cultivate their internal strength and seek transformation, expand their external scope and seek breakthroughs, “said Dr. Xiao Song, Executive Vice President of Siemens Global and Chairman, President and CEO of Siemens China.” Siemens is accelerating the deep integration of the real world and the digital world, and creating a more open innovation ecosystem through the Siemens Xcelerator platform, allowing cutting-edge technologies such as AI, digital twins, and industrial metaverse to truly be used in industry, helping Chinese enterprises overcome the cycle and move towards a high-tech, high-performance, and high-quality industrial new future
Since its landing in China in November 2022, Siemens Xcelerator has continuously expanded its cooperation ecosystem based on local market demand. At present, the number of partners has exceeded 100, and more than 20 joint co created solutions have been launched. At this year’s CIIE, DingTalk (China) Information Technology Co., Ltd., one of the ecological partners of Siemens Xcelerator, and Siemens jointly released the latest collaborative achievement: Siemens Integrated Supply Chain Planning and Management Platform – Supply and Demand Intelligence Control for Equipment Manufacturing Enterprises. This cloud based lightweight software platform covers the entire supply chain management process from product design, sales, production planning, procurement, and production execution. By utilizing core functions such as intelligent planning, heuristic material demand planning (MRP), and intelligent allocation of order fulfillment, we help enterprises shorten product delivery cycles, increase production capacity, and reduce inventory costs. Assist enterprises in maintaining a “healthy” supply chain state and responding quickly to market fluctuations in the face of uncertainty.
While enhancing their resilience and competitiveness through digital transformation, more Chinese industrial enterprises are actively expanding their overseas market space to enhance their adaptability to the global industrial and supply chains. Siemens and CCID Research Institute jointly released the “Carbon Roadmap – In Depth Insights into Corporate Green Going Global (2024-2025)” report, providing profound insights into how current global green regulatory trends affect corporate internationalization strategies. The report provides a detailed exploration of the challenges and opportunities faced by enterprises in carbon accounting, carbon pricing, life cycle assessment (LCA), circular economy, and green supply chain management, providing practical guidance and suggestions for building a comprehensive carbon management system and enhancing global market competitiveness. Siemens is also working with ecological partners such as the Institute of Information and Communications Technology to build a reliable carbon data calculation and exchange cornerstone based on the SiGREEN platform foundation and carbon footprint ecological solution, helping Chinese enterprises accelerate their “green going global”.
Sustainable development is the key to building a company’s core competitiveness and facing future challenges. Siemens and BASF have jointly released the new electrical safety product SIRIUS 3RV2, whose casing and functional components are made of biomass balanced plastic, significantly reducing its carbon equivalent emissions throughout its entire lifecycle. This product is also Siemens’ latest product to hold the EcoTech declaration. EcoTech evaluates and declares the full lifecycle performance of products from three dimensions: sustainable materials, optimized use, value recovery, and recycling, effectively promoting information transparency, enabling customers to make informed decisions, and promoting the sustainable development of the value chain.
During the exhibition, Siemens further expanded its cooperation ecosystem and signed cooperation agreements with nearly 30 Chinese companies to promote the digital transformation of industries such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and machinery manufacturing. Siemens and Luoyang Landi Glass Machinery Co., Ltd. have signed a strategic cooperation agreement, combining their respective advantages in energy conservation, carbon reduction, intelligent manufacturing, and industrial digitization to establish a long-term partnership. Siemens has also reached a strategic partnership with Puxie Jing New Energy Materials (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. to deepen cooperation in the construction of intelligent factories in the high-end polyolefin materials industry. In terms of AI applications, Siemens has deepened its strategic cooperation with Kuiburn Machinery (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. to explore the application of industrial AI in ore crushers and jointly create intelligent mining projects. To assist small and medium-sized enterprises in going global in a green manner, Siemens has also partnered with Haizhi Online Network Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Heihu Technology Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Urban Industry Development Group to carry out in-depth cooperation in areas such as green supply chain construction and sustainable development.
