ABB HBS01-EPD Overview

Product Positioning:

The ABB HBS01-EPD is an I/O MTU (Module Terminal Unit) from the ABB Symphony® Plus series. It is designed to provide power supply, signal access, and wiring space for digital I/O modules in field installations.

Channel Count:

Fixed 16 channels (same configuration as the HBS02-EPD model).

Supported I/O Modules:

Compatible with SD Series digital I/O modules (such as DI01, DI02, DI03, DI04, DO01, DO02, DO05, etc.), which can be directly plugged into the 16-point terminal base.

Redundancy and Hot-Swap:

Single (non-redundant) configuration; hot-swap functionality is not supported.
